Hospital Professional Liability insurance provides protection for your facility, hospital employees and volunteers for a claim brought against your hospital for malpractice stemming from the hospital services your facility provides.

Yellowstone does offer customizeable insurance limits, but typically we offer Professional Liability policy's limits of $1M per /$3M aggregate along with the option to further extend coverage through the purchase Excess & Umbrella coverage as well.

In total, Yellowstone insures over 250 physicians and mid-levels and that number will only continue to grow.  With the advent of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and changes in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, more physicians than ever before are moving from a private practice to a hospital setting, thus seeking medical malpractice coverage under the hospital's current policy in place.
